Washer Cleaner Position

Ben Franklin Transit is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Washer Cleaner. The successful candidate will clean and wash the interior and exterior of transit coaches, Dial A Ride, Vanpool and service vehicles; sweep and mop floors of coaches; clean seats and interior windows; may occasionally be required to clean areas contaminated with body fluids; washes vehicle exteriors including wiping down windshields, mirrors and lenses; major interior cleaning of vehicles including ceilings, side panels, seats and floors; cleans walls, partitions, and other surfaces. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift and push items over 50 lbs. Must work professionally with others. This is a graveyard position 8:00 pm – 4:30 am Sunday through Thursday.
You must have a High School diploma or GED equivalency, and read/speak excellent English. One year of experience in general use of cleaning equipment and cleaning agents/supplies and must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license and be able to obtain a CDL Class B License. Salary range: $ 12.76 - $14.35 per hour.
